Chiayi Airport (IATA code: CYI; ICAO code: RCKU) is an airport located in the water township of Chiayi County, Taiwan.It is a military-civilian airport. Civilian part of the jurisdiction is the Civil Aviation Administration of Chiayi Air Station of the Ministry of Communications of the Republic of China, and the military part is the Republic of China Air Force Chiayi Base, also known as the Air Force's 455th Tactical Fighter Wing. The Air Force Base is located at the junction of the water township of Chiayi County, Taibao City and Chiayi City. The exit of the airport station is located in the water township of Chiayi County. It is about eight kilometers from the city of Chiayi and About three kilometers from the waterway of Zhongshan Expressway.
